Meet Linette Kilbourn

Partner, Interior Designer & Architect

Linette brings over two decades of experience to residential and commercial interior design. Her many award-winning designs cover the globe and include Gensler’s Bangkok office, Bloomberg’s Tokyo office, and the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency in Riyadh. Closer to home, she has designed innumerable projects in the DC Capital region including work for Amazon, Apple, DC Central Kitchen, and the US Naval Academy. She is best known for her innovative residential work in historic locations as diverse as DC’s Capitol Hill and Shanghai’s French Concession.  She currently sits on the Capitol Hill Restoration Society Zoning Committee.

As a member of the American Institute of Architects, she has served as the AIA’s Membership Co-Chair for China, and organized and fundraised for the AIA’s fledgling China chapter, including tours of the historic architecture in Shanghai. As a leader in global sustainability, she organized and arranged sponsorships for the eco-tour and conference at China’s first carbon neutral building, the URBN hotel in Shanghai.

She is a sought-after lecturer, design juror and mentor at VCU, the University of Maryland, Marymount University, and the Catholic University of America.
