The Capitol Hill home of a professional couple and their two children needed a heart.  While the previous kitchen, situated at the center of the 2-story townhouse, should have been the hub for the family’s activity, it was insufficient for cooking, dining, storage and gathering.  And, it lacked character.  So, K2 demolished the old kitchen and replaced it with a design that excels on all counts.  Taking cues from the family’s love of confident art and bold color, the new kitchen reflects an exuberance and optimism in their home and burgeoning neighborhood.
