Meet Scott Kilbourn

Co-Founder & Principal Architect

Scott has worked extensively across the U.S., the Middle East, Europe, India, and Asia, contributing to projects ranging from large-scale master plans and tall buildings to small, detailed interior designs. His work fosters international dialogue, advancing design excellence and promoting global collaboration.

He has served on the Board of Directors for Perkins Eastman Architects, the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the DC Chamber of Commerce, and as Co-Chair of the Committee on the Environment for AIA Hong Kong. Additionally, he has taught design studios at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Boston Architectural College, the University of Hawaii, and the Catholic University of America.

He received his BA from Dartmouth College and his Master of Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.  He is an emeritus member of the HSGD’s Alumni Council. The recipient of the Rotch Traveling Scholarship, he was awarded a year-long opportunity to study cities and design around the world.

As a registered architect and thought-leader for architectural and urban design, Scott has delivered lectures at Harvard University, the Urban Land Institute, the ICSC, Cityscape, and the AIA.

​

A resident of Capitol Hill in DC, he is committed to community leadership and serves on the Real Estate and Neighborhood Advisory Committees for Sasha Bruce Youthwork.
