150 years ago, the eastern waterfront of Bombay’s peninsula was its front door, welcoming visitors, immigrants and cargo arriving by ship.  But, in recent years, this identity has been lost in the chaos of urban development.  Mumbai Port Trust now wishes to re-establish this site’s prominence by planning this 10-kilometer edge.​
